“Hard Work: A Journey of Growth and Lifelong Learning”

Hard work has always been a source of fulfillment for me, whether it was managing a busy nursing career while raising my family or more recently completing a professional styling diploma. Balancing the demands of a young family with a career taught me resilience and time management, while pursuing my diploma and building a strong Instagram following expanded my horizons and pushed me out of my comfort zone. Lifelong learning has become a core part of who I am, and each challenge I’ve embraced has not only broadened my skills but has also deepened my sense of personal achievement and growth. what ways does hard work make you feel fulfilled?

I’m Amrit Roshan, a personal stylist and fashion journalist working in central London. Prior to my personal styling and fashion journalism I enjoyed a fulfilling career in the Health Service for, over thirty years as a registered Nurse, Midwife and Health Visitor. I also worked in many strategic positions in primary and secondary care settings bringing about positive change in health service delivery systems. I have always been extremely creative, a keen artist, interior designer and more recently a personal stylist. I am currently in the final stages of completing my professional qualification with the British College of Professional Styling. We all face many changes in our lives- our career, lifestyle, personal style and even our body shape - and as a result we can find it hard to keep our wardrobe up to date. Often we don’t even have the energy or passion to wade through our wardrobes and collate outfits, in the right colours and shapes that will show our best features.
